GOP Rep Promotes Neo-Nazi on Twitter

Steve King (R-Iowa) retweeted a well-known neo-Nazi on Tuesday.  The move was part of an ongoing pattern by the congressman of promoting the views of openly white supremacist or racist individuals (see here for examples).

King tweeted: “Europe is waking up… Will America… in time?” –  linking to an anti-immigrant tweet from radical activist Mark Collett.  Collett is one of England’s most high-profile white supremacists.  Featured in the documentary “Young, Nazi and Proud,”  Collett expressed his admiration for Adolf Hitler, and says he considers AIDS a “friendly disease because blacks, drug users and gays have it.”

Congressman King, a long time Republican, has long endorsed the discredited consipracy theory that Barak Obama was a foreign born muslim, and defended keeping a Confederate Flag on his desk in the weeks following Dylan Roof’s race-inspired shooting of a church.

Trump-Linked Nonprofit Leader Caught on Camera Praising Nazis

In December of last year, policy advisor Juan Pablo Andrade from the Trump-linked America First Policies was caught on camera saying, “The only thing the Nazis didn’t get right is they didn’t keep fucking going!”

The non-profit was started to back the policy agenda of the Trump campaign.  Donors include CVS and Dow Chemicals.  The previous head of the organization, Carl Higbie, was forced to resign after making a number of racist remarks on his radio show, including:

“Go back to your Muslim shithole and go crap in your hands and bang little boys on Thursday nights.  I just don’t like Muslim people. People always rip me a new one for that. Carl, you’re racist, you can’t, you’re sexist. I’m like Jesus Christ. I just don’t like Muslim people because their ideology sucks.  Well people are like, ‘well, you can’t hate somebody just for being Muslim.  It’s like, yeah, I can. Do you hate people who rape little boys?”

Neo-Nazi Nabs GOP Nomination for Illinois House

Neo-Nazi Arthur Jones, former leader of the American Nazi Party, nabbed the Republican nomination to represent Illinois’ 3rd District in the House of Representatives.  The candidate, who famously called the Holocaust, “the biggest, blackest, lie in history,” and on his website, refers to Jews as “blood thirsty, criminal vampires,” racked up more than 23,000 Republican votes in the March, 2018 primary.  His campaign slogan, echoing the President Trump, is “America First.”

It is unclear whether Jones will benefit from funding from the Republican Congressional Committee.

Nazi GOP Candidate for US Senate Leads In CA Senate Polls

A Holocaust denier who praises Hitler and aspires to “remove the Jews from power” is running as a Republican for U.S. Senate in California.  Patrick Little (R-CA) sees himself as a Trump-style Republican, claiming to be “the only America first candidate in California.”

White supremicist David Duke, former state GOP representative from Louisiana and KKK Grand Wizard, has endorsed Little.  A SurveyUSA poll found Little to have the highest support of any Republican candidate, with 18% of the electorate backing him.
